BALTIMORE -- Houston Astros rookie Colin Moran fouled a ball off or near his left eye and was removed from the field by cart in the sixth inning of Saturday night's game with the Baltimore Orioles.

On the first pitch of the at-bat, Moran fouled off a pitch by Darren O'Day and the ball went straight up and hit the third baseman.

The trainers rushed out, and immediately put towels with pressure there and tried to help Moran walk off but his knees momentarily buckled, so they sat him down.

The cart came out and they loaded him on it carefully and took him off a few minutes later.

Marwin Gonzalez took over the at-bat and hit a three-run homer.
