Right-hander Juan Minaya was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. The 26-year-old is 1-0 with a 6.94 ERA in eight appearances for the White Sox this season and 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA in 13 appearances for Charlotte.

Petricka possesses a 9.28 ERA in nine appearances for the White Sox. He missed two months with a lat strain and has been ineffective since his return.

Petricka has a 3.70 career ERA in 163 relief appearances over the past five seasons.
