May 9 (UPI) -- Bernie Williams' jersey retirement game was the most expensive ticket in town in 2015, but nothing compared to Derek Jeter's goodbye.

According to ticket marketplace TickPick, the average ticket price for the New York Yankees and Houston Astros game on Sunday is $227.47. Williams' retirement ceremony on May 24, 2015 set fans back an average of $67.26 per ticket.

Jeter, 42, had a 20-year-long MLB career. The No. 6 pick in the 1992 MLB June Amateur Draft came straight out of Central High School in Kalamazoo, Mich. to win the 1996 American League Rookie of the Year.
