Jeter is having his infamous No. 2 jersey retired Sunday in Monument Park.

The Yankees (21-9) currently lead the Baltimore Orioles at the top of the American League East standings. New York has won six consecutive games heading into its 7:10 p.m. matchup Tuesday against the Cincinnati Reds at Great American Ball Park. The Yankees begin its home stand with the Astros at 7:05 p.m. Thursday at Yankee Stadium.

The Mother's Day polyester cap has a pink bill and a heather gray upper, with a pink Yankees logo. The patch of Jeter features the shortstop waving to the fans of Yankee Stadium. The patch caption reads: "Derek Jeter Captain."

The batting practice edition of the cap is the Yankees' standard navy headwear and white logo with the same patch flanking its right side.

Jeter is one of the most decorated baseball players of all time. "The Captain" was the 1996 Rookie of the Year, a 14-time All-Star, five-time World Series champion, five-time Gold Glove winner and five-time Silver Slugger recipient. "Mr. November" played all of his 20 seasons with the Yankees, before retiring after the 2014 season.

The regular caps are available for $37.99 and the Mother's Day edition is available for $39.99 at MLBShop.com, Lids and NewEraCap.com.

Jeter, 42, is currently part of a group looking to purchase the Miami Marlins. The group, which includes former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has not yet completed the deal.

Jeter has a net worth of $185 million, according to The Richest.
