April 10 (UPI) -- A fresh cup of cooked insects is now available for $4 at a Safeco Field concession stand.

According to ESPN, the Seattle Mariners are selling toasted grasshoppers tossed in chili lime salt. Poquitos operates the stand. The bugs are gluten free.

The concession stand is behind the The Pen, an outfield wall at the stadium. Seattle also offers sushi to its fans.

But the Mariners aren't the only team offering its fans an array of weird food options. The Texas Rangers sell a 2-foot long tamale filled hot dog, with chili and cheese on top. The Washington Nationals offer its fans an 18-inch Miami South Beach Dog, while the Baltimore Orioles predictably serve an array of crab dishes. The Cleveland Indians started selling a hot dog with Froot Loops, bacon, and mac 'n' cheese last season.

Ballard Pizza Company, Dynamite Chicken, Uptown China, and other restaurants join the Mexican local eatery as new fixtures in the ballpark, according to NBC 5 Western Washington.

The grasshoppers are listed as Oaxacan chapulines on the new Mariners menu. Mariners fans will have plenty of chances at snagging a platter of insects, as the team has nine consecutive home contests on its slate. The Mariners are 1-6 through seven games and sit at last place in the American League West.
