A woman who was stalking Tim Tebow at the New York Mets' spring training complex at Port St. Lucie, Fla., was arrested recently on trespassing charges.

Michelle Marie Thompson, 36, of Arvada, Colo., was given a trespassing warning on Feb. 26 and arrested two days later when she returned to the complex.

Thompson told authorities that she was in a relationship with Tebow, the former NFL quarterback who is trying his hand at baseball. Officers asked if the relationship was friendly, platonic, romantic or matrimonial, and Thompson laughed before saying "all of the above."

Thompson claimed she was living with Tebow at his home in Jacksonville and recited Tebow's address to officers.

Tebow learned of the stalking incident from Mets' security.

He made one brief comment about the situation.

"I wish her the best and wish she gets the help she needs," Tebow said.

Thompson is still in Fort Lucie Jail. She is being held on $750 bail.
