Watch: Wrestler sends World Series message to Jake 'The Snake' Arrieta, Chicago Cubs

CLEVELAND, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- "It's time to get this thing done. You bring them up, I'll set 'em down."

Those were the words uttered recently by wrestling legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts in a video about the Chicago Cubs posted to Diamond Dallas Page's YouTube channel.

"The Snake" called for Cubs fans to unite heading into its Game 7 matchup Wednesday against the Cleveland Indians.

"Strikeout? No way. Strike fear? You bet," Roberts said in the 1:40 clip.

Roberts also lamented about the Cubs 108 year period of suffering without a World Series title.

"The day has come. The time has come. The moment...is here," Roberts said, referring to the Cubs starter Jake Arrieta.

Roberts concludes the video by saying the Cubs will "turn this game inside out, because Jake the Snake said so."

Although Kyle Hendricks is slated to throw the first Cubs pitch at 8 p.m. from Cleveland's Progressive Field, Arrieta maintains that he will be ready if called on by coach Joe Maddon.
