Look: Tiger Woods brought a girlfriend to the Presidents Cup

Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Golfer Tiger Woods brought girlfriend Erica Herman with him to the 2017 Presidents Cup.

Woods was at the tournament as an assistant captain during the United States' seventh consecutive win in the tournament against international players.

During the tournament, Woods rode around in a golf cart and Herman, 33, was seated in the backseat. She wore a "player spouse" credential during the tournament, according to Golf.com. The credential is typically reserved for a player's wife or girlfriend.

Herman attended the opening ceremonies for the tournament and was photographed several times walking alongside Woods and with the other players' wives and girlfriends at Liberty National in Jersey City, N.J.

She was seen in the gallery with Justine Karain Reed, Paulina Gretzky, Annie Verret, Jillian Grace and Tori Slater.

Herman was also seen clutching Woods' arm.

In February, Woods' official website identified Herman as the general manager of The Woods, Tiger's restaurant in Jupiter, Fla.

Woods, 41, and Elin Nordegren were divorced in 2010. Woods and girlfriend Lindsey Vonn broke up in 2015.

Cameras also captured Woods and rival Phil Mickelson hugging at the end of the tournament. Mickelson beat Canada's Adam Hadwin in singles during Sunday's final round.

"Tiger and I have been good friends and have gotten along very well in these team events for many years now," Mickelson said in his post-match comments, according to the Golf Channel. "Just because it doesn't get reported or shown is irrelevant. We've worked very well in these team events, and to share our success has been really fun for us. We really enjoy seeing these teams thrive and succeed and being a part of it."
