Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Phil Mickelson's caddie might want to keep an eye of the classifieds after "lefty" recently turned to a little boy for advice during a round.

Mickelson finished in a four-way tie for sixth place after the final round Monday at the Dell Technologies Championship. On one hole, he landed near the left flank by a gallery of fans. He eyed his shot, which was nestled nicely in the grass, before looking at the crowd. He found a little boy, named Riley, and asked him for advice about a possible approach for his next shot.

"Would you go for it here out of the rough or would you lay it up?" Mickelson asked the boy.

"If I could hit my 3-wood 260 I would probably go for it," Riley responded.

"I like the way you think," Mickelson said.

"Lefty" then drilled the ball out of the grass before admiring his swipe.

"Riley, you can caddie for me anytime," Mickelson told the boy.

Mickelson carded a final round of 68 Monday at TPC Boston in Norton, Mass. Justin Thomas won the tournament while Jordan Spieth was three strokes behind for a second place finish.

Mickelson, 47, is ranked No. 29 in the World Golf Ranking. The 42-time PGA Tour tournament winner hasn't won a tournament on the tour since the 2013 season.

Mickelson's last major championship victory also came that year when he captured the Claret Jug in 2013 at The Open Championship.
