Rolex Women's Golf Rankings update: So Yeon Ryu holds top spot in latest rankings

So Yeon Ryu of South Korea remained atop the Rolex Women's Golf Rankings released on Monday.

Ryu maintained her hold on No. 1 for the third consecutive week while there was no movement among the top nine positions.

Ariya Jutanugarn of Thailand, who enjoyed a brief stint atop the rankings last month, held steady at No. 2 following by Lexi Thompson of the United States at No. 3.

Lydia Ko of New Zealand, who had her 84-week reign halted by Jutanugarn, was at No. 4 while In Gee Chun of South Korea rounded out the top five.

Sei Young Kim of South Korea was the only newcomer in the top 10, moving up one spot and trading places with countrywoman Sung Hyun Park.

Michelle Wie of the United States inched up one spot to No. 30, her first appearance inside the top 30 since the beginning of the 2016 season.

After starting this season ranked No. 180, Wie has steady moved up in the wake of six top-10 finishes on the LPGA Tour. She is among 22 players on tour with a scoring average below 70.
