2017 AT&T Byron Nelson Round 2 Leaderboard: Dustin Johnson among early second-round leaders

IRVING, Texas -- World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, fellow American Cameron Tringale and Byeong Hun An of South Korea share the lead at 6-under-par 134 after the early wave of the second round of the AT&T Byron Nelson on Friday.

The round was competed under mostly cloudy skies and windy conditions at the TPC Las Colinas in this northwest suburb of Dallas.

An fired a bogey-free 66 on the par-70 course while Johnson posted four birdies and a bogey on his final hole of the day on the way to a 67. Tringale, who was tied for second after the first round at 4-under, carded a 68 on Friday that included five birdies and three bogeys.

Peter Malnati (68) and Grayson Murray (63) were in the clubhouse a stroke back at 135 with Sean O'Hair (69) and Ryan Armour (69) another shot in arrears at 136.

World No. 2 Jason Day of Australia (69), Zac Blair (68), J.J. Henry (69), Willy Wilcox (67) and Scott Piercy (69) finished the second round with a total of 137, three shots behind the leaders.

Defending champion and recent Masters winner Sergio Garcia shot a 65 and moved back into contention at 138.

First-round co-leaders James Hahn and Ricky Barnes and world No. 6 and hometown favorite Jordan Spieth played in the afternoon wave on Friday.

Among those players missing the projected cut were Hunter Mahan, Bryson DeChambeau, Bryce Molder, J.B. Holmes, Ryo Ishikawa of Japan, Graham DeLaet of Canada, former PGA Championship winner Y.E. Yang of South Korea and Ryan Moore.
