TV: Thursday and Friday, 2-6 p.m. EDT on the Golf Channel; Saturday and Sunday, 1-2:30 p.m. EDT on the Golf Channel and 3-6 p.m. EDT on CBS.

LAST YEAR: James Hahn, who entered the event having missed eight consecutive cuts on the PGA Tour, sank a 4-foot par putt on the first playoff hole to defeat Roberto Castro, who yanked his drive into a creek and could not recover. Hahn, whose only other victory on circuit came in a playoff over Dustin Johnson and Paul Casey of England in the 2015 Northern Trust Open, had a one-stroke lead but three-putted for a bogey on the final hole of regulation to cap a 2-under-par 70, while Castro forced the playoff by sinking a 6-foot par putt to shoot 71. Hahn said had he missed another cut, he might have had to go back to selling shoes at Nordstrom, which he did after graduating from the University of California before heading out on the mini-tours.

PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS
Insperity Invitational at The Woodlands (Texas) Country Club, Friday through Sunday.

TV: Friday, 6-8 p.m. EDT; Saturday, 3-6 p.m. EDT, and Sunday, 3-5:30 p.m. EDT; on the Golf Channel each day.

LAST YEAR: Jesper Parnevik of Sweden carded a 5-under-par 67 in the final round and earned his first victory on the senior circuit by four strokes over Jeff Maggert, Mike Goodes and David Frost of South Africa. Parnevik won five times on the PGA Tour and had four victories on the European Tour, but this was his first title since the 2001 Honda Classic because his career was short-circuited by a series of injuries. The Swede took control in the final round with five birdies in eight holes through No. 12. Maggert, who was tied for the lead with Parnevik through 36 holes, closed with a 71, while Frost shot 69 and Goodes had a 70.

LPGA TOUR
Citibanamex Lorena Ochoa Match Play at Club de Golf Mexico in Mexico City, Thursday through Sunday.

TV: No live television in the United States.

LAST YEAR: Carlota Ciganda of Spain eagled the second hole en route to a 4-under-par 68 and claimed her second LPGA Tour victory by two strokes over Austin Ernst, Jodi Ewart Shadoff of England, Karine Icher of France, Sarah Jane Smith of Australia and Angela Stanford. Ciganda won for the second time in four starts, also having won the LPGA KEB Hana Bank Championship in South Korea with a birdie putt on the first playoff hole to beat Alison Lee a few weeks earlier. What was known as the Lorena Ochoa Invitational has moved from November on the LPGA Tour schedule to this week and will be played in a match-play format for the first time, with a 64-player field.
