March 21 (UPI) -- There is no doubt that Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has large enough muscles to complete this task.

The question is, can his technical golf game catch up to his brute strength in order to smash the world record for the longest drive?

According to his Instagram account, he's getting close to the mark.

"The world record longest drive is 515 yards set in 1974," Johnson said on Instagram. "My drive here measured an estimated 490 yards by the scientists holding the rulers. I failed math when I was a kid, but I think that's kinda close. One fun day I will break the world record. Great day on the links shooting scenes for our HBO's #Ballers. Subsequently, I also hit two other great balls... when I stepped on a rake. Ok, no more bullshit haha.. back to work. Have a productive day. #OnSet#Ballers #LasVegas #TheGolfingBeast Big shout out to my bud and the man himself @jordanspieth for my gear."

Mike Austin hit the 515 bomb in 1974 during the National Seniors Open Championship. Dustin Johnson has the longest drive this season with a 428 yard swing at the SBS Tournament of Champions. Johnson's drive was the longest on the tour since Phil Mickelson's 450 yard bomb during the 2013 season at the World Golf Championships - Cadillac Championship.
