The University of Miami could be facing a starting quarterback dilemma for next week's bowl matchup against Wisconsin.
The status of starting quarterback N'Kosi Perry for Thursday's Pinstripe Bowl is uncertain after a sexually explicit video posted on the redshirt freshman's Snapchat account resurfaced last month.
The university, which confirmed Perry will travel to New York City for the bowl matchup, released a statement Friday in which it acknowledged an incident involving an unnamed student.
"We are aware of an inappropriate video posted on a social media account associated with one of our student-athletes," the statement read. "The video has been removed and the posting has been addressed with the student-athlete. We will continue to be committed to high standards of conduct at UM."

The video, which showed an unidentified couple having intercourse, initially was posted on Perry's Snapchat account hours after the Hurricanes defeated Toledo on Sept. 15.
A screen shot of the video would up circulating among the "Miami student body in late November," according to the Miami Hurricane -- the school newspaper.
Perry started the final three regular-season games for Miami, although he struggled badly in a 24-3 win over Pittsburgh on Nov. 24, finishing 6 of 24 for 52 yards.
Senior Malik Rosier started the first four games of the season but was replaced in late September by Perry, who started three games before coach Mark Richt turned back to Rosier.
Following a third consecutive loss, Richt again named Perry as the starter at Georgia Tech on Nov. 10. Perry was 14 of 23 for 165 yards in a 27-21 loss and followed that up by going 21 of 34 for 171 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-14 romp at Virginia Tech the following week.
A transfer from South Florida, Perry has thrown for 1,089 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions.
Rosier, who started all 13 games for Miami last season, has passed for 1,007 yards with six TDs and five picks. He also has rushed for 210 yards and six scores.
