TCU's Jalen Reagor toys with Baylor defense with winding TD

By Alex Butler

Nov. 17 (UPI) -- TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor torched the Baylor defense Saturday, catching a short bubble screen and taking it into the end zone for a 65-yard touchdown.

Reagor reached pay dirt in the second quarter of the Horned Frogs' 16-9 win at McLane Stadium in Waco, Texas. The Horned Frogs faced a 3rd-and-6 from the TCU 35-yard-line during the sequence.

TCU quarterback Grayson Muehlstein dropped back in the pocket and looked to his left on the play before spotting Reagor as he was coming back to the football. Reagor made the catch with his back to the end zone. He escaped a group of five Bears defenders, running back toward the line of scrimmage.

Reagor then ran in between the hashmarks, sidestepping another Bears defender before spinning out of a tackle. Reagor managed to keep his balance and jetted into the left flank, avoiding a last minute arm tackle by diving into the left corner of the end zone.

The Horned Frogs star now has six consecutive games with receiving score. Reagor had four catches for 86 yards and a score. He also had two carries for 32 yards and a touchdown.
