Nov. 4 (UPI) -- Tua Tagovailoa ran 44 yards for a score and threw for two more, and top-ranked Alabama's defense did the rest, as the Crimson Tide emerged with a 29-0 road win over No. 4 LSU to stay unbeaten Saturday night.
Tagovailoa finished 25-of-42 passing for 295 yards and played in the fourth quarter for the first time this season.He also threw his first interception of the season, late in the first half. But none of it mattered as Alabama sort of scratched clawed its way to an early 9-0 lead and never looked back.
Meanwhile, the the Tigers were forced to punt on their first nine possessions.
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow finished 18-of-35 passing for 184 yards. He was sacked five times.

Travis Etienne ran for two touchdowns and 153 yards and second-ranked Clemson was never threatened.
Etienne has now surpassed 1,000 yards rushing and an ACC-best 15 toucjdowns. Tavien Feaster tacked on 101 yards rushing and freshman Lyn-J Dixon went for 116, as the unbeaten Tigers finished with a season high 492 yards rushing.
Notre Dame 31, Northwestern 21
Ian Book threw for two touchdowns and ran for an important score late in the game as the third-ranked Fighting Irish remained undefeated and snapped the Wildcats' four-game winning streak.
Book threw a 20-yard scoring strike to Miles Boykin in the corner of the end zone, then a 47-yarder to Michael Young in the second half to put the Irish up by two touchdowns. He scored the game's final TD with a 23-yard run late in the fourth quarter.
Michigan 42, Penn State 7
Karan Higdon ran for 132 yards and a score and the fourth-ranked Wolverines' defense forced three turnovers in an easy win over the No. 14 Nittany Lions.
Michigan is aiming to win its first conference title since 2004 and make its first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff.
Georgia 34, Kentucky 17
D'Andre Swift ran for a 156 yards and two scores and the sixth-ranked Bulldogs claimed the SEC East crown by topping the 17th-ranked Wildcats.
