Ohio State Buckeyes QB J.T. Barrett game-time decision vs. Wisconsin Badgers

Less than one week after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery, Ohio State senior quarterback J.T. Barrett is a game-day decision for Saturday's Big Ten title game between the eighth-ranked Buckeyes and No. 4 Wisconsin.

Barrett, who had the procedure done last Sunday after aggravating a right knee inury when he was hit on the sidelines in last Saturday's game against rival Michigan, has been undergoing 15 hours of treatment per day in hopes of returning to the field Saturday.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said Barrett's week of treatment has been "very positive," but added that the quarterback's health situation is still "very delicate."

"That's not normal. It takes a rare individual because there is a pain threshold," Meyer said via ESPN.com, adding that other players in similar situations have taken two-to-three weeks to return.

If Barrett is unable to go, the Buckeyes will turn to redshirt freshman Dwayne Haskins, who took over for Barrett after his injury against Michigan and went 6-for-7 with 94 passing yards and added 24 rushing yards on three carries.

Barrett, who was 3-for-8 with 30 yards and a touchdown on top of 67 rushing yards and one ground score before departing in the Buckeyes' 31-20 victory against the Wolverines, has thrown for 2,728 yards, 33 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season.

He has also 672 rushing yards and nine rushing scores on the campaign.
