Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson took to social media to reveal the latest step in his recovery from a dislocated wrist. Johnson posted a video on Twitter Monday showing that he had his cast removed on his left arm.
"Guess what today is?" Johnson asked the camera. "The cast is off. Finally. Already feel the range of motion coming back.
Johnson will need to build strength and stability in his arm before potentially being cleared by the Cardinals (4-5), who are on the outside of the postseason race. The 25-year-old sustained the injury in Arizona's season-opening 35-23 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sept. 10.
Last season, Johnson totaled 1,239 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. He also led the NFL with 2,118 all-purpose yards while averaging 4.2 yards per carry and 11 yards per reception.
