Oct. 1 (UPI) -- Troy University's official Twitter account thanked LSU for hosting its football team and said they enjoyed the game after a 24-21 upset.

"Hey @LSU, thanks for having us down for homecoming! We really enjoyed it," Troy University's Twitter account tweeted.

But all of the taunting wasn't friendly, as one Troy player was caught throwing obscene gestures at the crowd in Death Valley. Alvin Bryant did several crotch grabs and pointed his middle fingers.

Troy coach Neal Brown responded to a video of Bryant making the gestures with a statement on Sunday.

"I was made aware of the video of Alvin Bryant, and I am extremely disappointed in his actions," Brown said in the statement. "This behavior will not be tolerated in our program, and he will face immediate disciplinary actions. It is unfortunate that I have to address the behavior of one individual after a significant victory for our football program. However, it is important that our young men understand the consequences of their decisions and actions."
