COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 13 (UPI) -- The Ohio State Buckeyes are 'scary' loaded once again.
On Sunday night, Urban Meyer's squad landed another prized recruit. This time, Meyer reeled in No. 1 ranked dual-threat quarterback Tate Martell. He de-committed from Texas A&M earlier this year. Martell attended Las Vegas' Bishop Gorman High School. The 5-foot-10, 203 pound quarterback is a four-star recruit, according to 247 Sports.
When Martell committed to the Aggies, he was walking into competition with five-star gunslingers Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. Now he'll face Joey Burrow and Dwayne Haskins, and maybe Danny Clark.

"He's just a fierce, fierce competitor," Martell's personal quarterbacks coach Steve Clarkson told 247 Sports.
"I've never seen anyone like him," Clarkson told 247 Sports. "His stature may be 5-11 but he plays like he's 6-4. There is not a throw he can't make. He's comfortable throwing in the pocket. He's comfortable outside the pocket. He brings a skill set you don't see very often. He's deadly accurate. His force of nature is something you don't see often."
Martell thew 32 touchdowns and six interceptions last season, but tossed 40 touchdowns and two interceptions as a sophomore. Rivals also ranks Martell as its No. 1 dual-threat quarterback.
