COL FB: Florida State 45, Duke 7

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Jameis Winston tossed a trio of TD passes and ran for another Saturday, lifting No. 1 Florida State into the BCS title game with a 45-7 rout of No. 20 Duke.

Winston completed 19-of-32 passes for 330 yards and added 59 rushing yards on 10 carries for the Seminoles (13-0), who breezed to a victory in the ACC championship game and finished with 13 wins for the first time in school history.

With their 14th ACC title, they will now go on to face Auburn in their first national championship game since winning it in 1999-2000.

Winston shook off his legal problems -- authorities Thursday announced they didn't have enough evidence to prosecute him on allegations of sexual assault brought last year by a female FSU student.

Kelvin Benjamin led the Seminoles' receiving corps, racking up 119 yards with two scores on five receptions.

Devonta Freeman rushed for 91 yards and a score on 17 carries.

The Blue Devils (10-3) fell as Anthony Boone was limited to 20-of-40 passing efficiency for 138 yards with two interceptions.
