A victory against Duke in next weekend's ACC championship game will guarantee FSU a trip to the BCS national championship game.

Two-time defending champion Alabama (11-1, .8539), meanwhile, fell to the No. 4 spot following its first loss of the season.

The unbeaten Buckeyes (12-0, .9503) cracked the Top 2 for the first time since 2007. They next meet BCS No. 10 Michigan State in Saturday's Big Ten title game.

Auburn (11-1, .9233) moved into the third spot ahead of next weekend's SEC championship game against BCS No. 5 Missouri.

Oklahoma State, Stanford, South Carolina, Baylor and Michigan State rounded out the Top 10.
