LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Teddy Bridgewater threw for 220 yards and a touchdown Saturday to lead 15th-ranked Louisville past Memphis 24-17.
Dominique Brown ran for 54 yards and a touchdown, and the Louisville (10-1, 6-1 ACC) defense held Memphis (3-7, 1-5) to a field goal through the first three quarters.
Bridgewater, who completed 26-of-36 throws, hit DeVante Parker with a 39-yard TD pass that gave Louisville a 14-3 lead with 5:13 to play in the second quarter. Dominique Brown ran one in from 4 yards out in the third quarter.
Louisville opened the scoring late in the first quarter when Preston Brown ran 48 yards to the end zone with a recovered fumble.
Paxton Lynch threw for 144 yards and a touchdown and also ran in a TD for the Tigers.
