COL FB: Central Florida 62, Connecticut 17

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Blake Bortles threw four touchdown passes and ran in a score himself Saturday while leading No. 25 Central Florida to a 62-17 trouncing of winless Connecticut.

Bortles completed 20-of-24 passes for 286 yards for the Knights (6-1, 3-0 ACC), who remained unbeaten in conference play.

Storm Johnson caught a TD pass and ran for a score and Raneell Hall ran for 45 yards and a TD. The Knights rolled up 527 yards of total offense and led 43-10 at halftime.

Connecticut (0-7, 0-3) accumulated 233 total yards of offense and turned the ball over four times. The Huskies employed two quarterbacks in the loss. Casey Cochran connected with Brian Lemelle for a 47-yard touchdown play in the fourth quarter.
