COL FB: Stanford 55, Washington State 17

SEATTLE, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Kevin Hogan fired three touchdown passes Saturday and fifth-ranked Stanford cruised past Washington State 55-17 in Seattle.

Hogan went 16-of-25 for 286 passing yards with one interception for the Cardinal (4-0, 2-0 Pac-12), who rolled up 560 yards of total offense in the one-sided victory.

Devon Cajuste hauled down two scoring passes en route to four grabs for 115 yards and Michael Rector added two receptions for 93 yards and a score for Stanford.

Sophomore Barry Sanders Jr. scored on a 22-yard run for his first collegiate touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Connor Halliday and Austin Apodaca combined to make good on 39-of 65 passes for 322 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Cougars (3-2, 1-1).
