COL FB: Louisville 45, Temple 17

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Teddy Bridgewater threw five touchdown passes Saturday to lead undefeated No. 10 Louisville to a 45-17 rout of Temple.

Bridgewater completed 19-of-28 passes for 324 yards and Louisville (9-0, 4-0 Big East) averaged 10.2 yards per pass play for the game.

Andrell Smith caught two of Landry's scoring passes. Ryan Hubbell, DeVante Parker and Eli Rodgers also caught TD tosses.

Montel Harris ran for 115 yards and a touchdown for Temple (3-5, 2-3). The Owls have lost three consecutive Big East tilts and lost four fumbles Saturday.

Clinton Granger, one of three quarterbacks deployed by the Owls Saturday, completed 3-of-7 passes for 21 yards. Temple totaled 54 passing yards and 309 yards of total offense compared to 508 for the Cardinals.

A 34-yard field goal by Temple's Brandon McManus tied the score 17-17 early in the second quarter but Louisville responded with 28 unanswered points and shut Temple out in the second half.
