COL FB: UCLA 36, Nebraska 30

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) -- Brett Hundley's four scoring strikes provided the difference Saturday in UCLA's 36-30 upset of No. 14 Nebraska.

Hundley -- who completed 21-for-31 passes for 305 yards -- sealed the win with a 9-yard toss to Johnathan Franklin with 2:13 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Franklin ended with 217 rushing yards on 26 carries for the Bruins (2-0).

Joseph Fauria led the UCLA receivers with two TD catches.

The Cornhuskers (1-1) lost despite an all-around performance from Taylor Martinez, who went 17-for-31 through the air for 179 yards and ran for 111 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown.

It was only the third loss in 18 non-conference games for Nebraska.
