COL FB: Clemson 35, Florida State 30

CLEMSON, S.C., Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Tajh Boyd accounted for four touchdowns Saturday, passing for three and running for another in No. 22 Clemson's 35-30 victory over No. 14 Florida State.

Boyd connected on 23-of-37 pass attempts for 344 yards with one interception as the Tigers (4-0, 1-0 ACC) handed a second straight loss to the Seminoles (2-2, 0-1).

Dwayne Allen had four catches for 67 yards and a touchdown, while Sammy Watkins made eight grabs for 141 yards and two scores for Clemson.

The Seminoles went down to defeat despite three touchdown passes from Clint Trickett.

Rodney Smith hauled down four passes for 118 yards and a score in the loss.
