Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Baruch College senior Bryler Paige managed to make a long-range shot while sitting on the court during a win against Lehman College.
Paige's unorthodox heave came 2 minutes into the second half of the Bearcats' 68-58 victory against the Lightning on Monday at the APEX Center in Brooklyn.
Baruch led 29-20 at halftime before Isaiah Geathers made two free throws to close the Lightning deficit to seven points.
Paige then dove for a loose ball during a Bearcats possession and secured it on the ground just beyond the 3-point line. Instead of passing the ball, Paige opted to toss a shot toward the rim. The attempt hit off of the backboard and went through the net.
It was ruled a two-point basket.
