Morant retrieved the ball on the opposite end of the court during the sequence. He sprinted to his right before weaving back to the middle of the floor after crossing half-court. Morant then performed a slight hesitation move before crossing the 3-point line and splitting two defenders.

He took a few steps into the paint before rising up over two players and palming the ball back in his right hand. Morant finished off the play with a mighty throw down over the Tide's Donta Hall and Josh Petty.

The Racers leaper scored a game-high 38 points and had nine rebounds, five assists and 10 turnovers in the loss. He had 29 field goal attempts.

Kira Lewis Jr. led Alabama with 20 points.

The Racers host Prairie View at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the CFSB Center in Murray, Ky. The Crimson Tide battle UCF at 7 p.m. on Thursday at CFE Arena in Orlando.
