Feb. 8 (UPI) -- LaMelo Ball's brother is one of the brightest young stars in college basketball.

But he wasn't being upstaged by Lonzo on Tuesday, when LeMelo scored 92 points in Chino Hills' 146-231 win against Los Osos.

The sophomore guard made 30-of-39 of his two-point attempts and swished 7-of-22 3-point tries. LaMelo and his other brother/teammate LiAngelo are both committed to UCLA, where Lonzo currently stars.

LiAngelo is usually the team's leading scorer, but sat out Tuesday with an ankle injury.

The youngest Ball brother scored 63 points in the second half and 41 points in the fourth quarter. He also had seven assists and five rebounds.

"It very exciting, almost overwhelming," Chino Hills head coach Stephan Gilling told the Los Angeles Times' Eric Sondheimer.

Lonzo tweeted his support after the win. The Bruins' freshman is averaging 15.1 points and 7.8 rebounds.

"Well I mean that's one way to bounce back after a loss...I see you lil bro," he tweeted.

Chino Hills [26-1] snapped its 60-game winning streak on Saturday. It battles Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday night.
