DURHAM, N.C., Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The Atlantic Coast Conference [ACC] said "there is nothing conclusive that can be determined" from Grayson Allen's latest dirty play.
ESPN reported the conference's response to Allen's play Saturday, in Duke's 93-82 win against Boston College.
In the first half of the Blue Devils' win, Allen was screened on a play by Connor Tava. After sliding in front of him and making contact, Allen flung back his left leg and kicked his heel up at Tava. Tava hopped away without falling.
The junior All-American was stripped of his captaincy in December after being involved in multiple tripping incidents. He was indefinitely suspended, but only missed one game. Allen has tripped players in games against Louisville, Florida State, and Elon.

"We have had the opportunity to thoroughly review the incident involving Grayson Allen from last night's game against Elon," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said in a statement last month. "As I stated last night, the incident was unacceptable and inexcusable. He took an important step last night by apologizing in person to Steven Santa Ana and Coach Matt Matheny. As a program, we needed to take further steps regarding his actions that do not meet the standards of Duke Basketball. To that end, we have determined that Grayson will be suspended from competition for an indefinite amount of time."

Allen was not assessed with a foul on the play. He started the game, netting 12 points, 11 assists, and five rebounds.
"The ACC supports the actions taken by Duke University, Kevin White and Mike Krzyzewski surrounding the suspension of Grayson Allen following last night's game versus Elon," ACC Commissioner John Swofford said in a statement last month. "Sportsmanship is one of the core values of our league, and the action by Duke demonstrates adherence to this important principle."
Duke battles Florida State at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. The Blue Devils will play without coach Krzyzewski throughout January, as he recovers from back surgery.
