DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Duke took down Louisville in more ways than one Monday.

Sophomore guard Grayson Allen was caught making a dirty play against the Cardinals during the ACC battle. Duke won 72-65.

On the play, Allen went to the floor after missing a layup. Instead of getting back up quickly, Allen pushed his leg out and tripped Raymond Spalding. Allen was issued a flagrant-one foul for his actions. Earlier this year, Oregon State's Jarmal Reid was suspended for a similar incident, but his involved tripping a referee.

Allen is averaging 20.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists this season for the Blue Devils. Last season the 6-foot, 4-inch guard averaged just 4.4 points in 9.2 minutes per game.
