CEDAR FALLS, Iowa, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Tekele Cotton led a balanced attack with 18 points Saturday and second-ranked Wichita State stayed undefeated with an 82-73 victory over Northern Iowa.
Cleanthony Early netted 16 points, Darius Carter added 15 in a reserve role and Fred VanVleet supplied 14 with seven rebounds and four assists for the Shockers (25-0, 12-0 MVC).

Ron Baker contributed 12 points and six assists as Wichita State extended the second-longest winning streak in Missouri Valley Conference history, trailing only Indiana State's 33-gamer in 1978-79.
The Panthers (11-13, 5-7) were paced by Matt Bohannon with 17 points.
