DALLAS, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Markus Kennedy finished with 21 points and 16 rebounds Saturday, sending Southern Methodist over No. 22 Memphis 87-72.

Sterling Brown added 15 points and Nic Moore had 14 points and 10 assists for the Mustangs (17-5, 6-3 AAC), who notched an 11th straight home win.

Nick Russell put in 11 points.

Joe Jackson supplied 22 points and six rebounds for Tigers (16-5, 6-3), who had their four-game winning streak snapped. Geron Johnson scored 18 points.
