COL BKB: Wichita State 57, Loyola (Ill.) 45

WICHITA, Kan., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Cleanthony Early netted 23 points, including four 3-points, and No. 3 Wichita State remained unbeaten with a 57-45 win over Loyola-Chicago Tuesday.

Fred VanVleet had nine assists and eight rebounds to go with three points for the Shockers (22-0, 9-0 MVC), one of three undefeated teams in the nation along with Arizona and Syracuse.

Ron Baker and Tekele Cotton provided seven points each.

Loyola (8-13, 3-6) was led by Milton Doyle with 16 points.
