NEWARK, N.J., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Darrum Hilliard hit 4-of-5 from 3-point range Wednesday and scored 19 points in leading No. 10 Villanova to an 83-67 decision over Seton Hall.
The Wildcats remained unbeaten in their three Big East Conference contests and have captured four in a row since their lone loss of the campaign, which came on Dec. 28 against second-ranked Syracuse.
Villanova pulled away in the second half after owning a 38-32 lead at the break. The Wildcats shot 52 percent from the field and connected on 12-of-24 from beyond the arc.
JayVaughn Pnkston added 17 points for Villanova (14-1 overall) and Ryan Arcidiacono had 14.
Seton Hall (10-6, 1-2 Big East) grabbed just two offensive rebounds. The Pirates were led by Brian Oliver with 20 points.
