BLACKSBURG, Va., Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Second-ranked Syracuse remained unbeaten Tuesday by dispatching Virginia Tech on the road 73-52.
C.J. Fair led the Orange (15-0, 2-0 ACC) with 17 points and Jermai Grant notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Fair had six rebounds and Syracuse dominated the boards 41-25.
C.J. Barksdale scored 12 to lead Virginia Tech (8-6, 1-1). Adam Smith and Ben Emelogu both scored nine.
The Hokies kept the game close until the second half when Syracuse embarked on a 20-2 run that staked them to a 64-24 lead with 5 minutes left in the game.
