DES MOINES, Iowa, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Melsahn Basabe put in 15 points Saturday, igniting the 24th-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes over Drake 83-66 at the Big Four Classic in Des Moines.

Peter Jok and Roy Devyn Marble each added 14 points as Iowa (9-1) notched a second straight win.

Jarrod Uthoff also reached double figures with 13 points.

The Bulldogs (6-2) were paced by Chris Caird with 21 points.

Richard Carter helped out with 18.
