HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Ryan Boatright led the way with 17 points Friday and No. 14 Connecticut easily stayed unbeaten with a 95-68 victory over Maine.
The Huskies, one of 17 major college basketball teams yet to lose this season, sped to a 23-point halftime lead and cruised from there while shooting 54 percent from the field. Connecticut connected on 14-of-26 from 3-point range.
Boatright hit 6-of-11 from the field while playing 23 minutes, the most of any Connecticut starter. DeAndre Daniels and Omar Calhoun both had 16 points for the Huskies, who improved to 9-0.
Connecticut outrebounded the Black Bears 38-24 and limited them to 40 percent shooting. Maine (1-7) was led by Xavier Pollard with 20 points.
