COL BKB: Notre Dame 80, Stetson 49

SOUTH BEND, Ind., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Jerian Grant and Garrick Sherman each scored 15 points Sunday and No. 22 Notre Dame cruised to an 80-49 victory over Stetson.

Grant dished off six assists and Sherman grabbed eight rebounds for Notre Dame (2-0), which began the game with a 17-3 run and was never headed.

The Fighting Irish canned 9-of-14 three-pointers during a first-half surge and went into halftime with a 51-21 lead.

Stetson (0-2) was paced by freshman Brian Pegg with 13 points.
