WACO, Texas, March 23 (UPI) -- A 26-point performance by Pierre Jackson Friday boosted Baylor to an 89-86 decision over Arizona State in the second round of the NIT.
The Bears (20-14) will play in the quarterfinals against the winner of Monday's game between Robert Morris and Providence.

Jackson made only 4-of-14 shots from the field, but he went 17-of-21 from the foul line and handed out 16 assists. Six of Jackson's free throws came in the closing minute.
Carrick Felix led Arizona State (22-13) with 23 points.
