NASHVILLE, March 17 (UPI) -- Murphy Holloway netted 23 points Sunday and Mississippi assured itself an NCAA post-season bid with a 66-63 win over No. 11 Florida in the SEC Tournament.
Holloway also grabbed eight rebounds while Marshall Henderson scored 18 of his 21 points in the first half as Ole Miss (26-8) staged a big comeback to erase a 14-point deficit.
The Rebels' first conference tourney championship since 1981 ensured they would receive an invitation to the NCAA Tournament after coming into the contest as a "bubble" team.
The SEC regular season champion Gators (26-7) were led by Mike Rosario with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Kenny Boynton also reached double figures with 13 points, but missed a potential score-tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.
