COL BKB: Missouri 71, South Carolina 65

COLUMBIA, Mo., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Earnest Ross poured in 21 points and sank a crucial 3-pointer late in the game Tuesday, sparking No. 22 Missouri to a 71-65 comeback win over South Carolina.

Ross hauled down 10 rebounds while Jabari Brown (17 points, seven boards) also drained a clutch late shot from long range for the Tigers (14-4, 3-2 SEC), who wiped out a 13-point deficit in the victory.

Alex Oriakhi added 18 points and 11 rebounds as Missouri logged its fourth win in six contests.

South Carolina (11-7, 1-4) was led by Brenton Williams' 16 points.

R.J. Slawson also reached double figures with 12 points in the loss.
