SYRACUSE, N.Y., Dec. 8 (UPI) -- Michael Carter-Williams' career-high 16 assists along with 15 points Saturday sparked fourth-ranked Syracuse past Monmouth 108-56.

Carter-Williams also recorded five steals and four blocks as the Orange (8-0) won a nation's-best 28th straight home game.

Syracuse also got double-doubles from C.J. Fair (14 points, 10 rebounds) and DaJuan Coleman (11 points, 14 rebounds). Brandon Triche (18 points), Trevor Cooney (15) and James Southerland (14) also reached double figures for the Orange

The Hawks (5-5) got 10 points from Ed Waite.
