NASSAU, Bahamas, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Mason Plumlee put in 16 points and Quinn Cook totaled 15 Saturday, elevating fifth-ranked Duke to a 76-71 upset of No. 2 Louisville in the Bahamas.
Seth Curry, Ryan Kelly and Rasheed Sulaimon each added 14 for the Blue Devils (6-0), who used a balanced attack and 23-of-27 shooting from the foul line to post the win in the championship game of the Battle 4 Atlantis Tournament.
Duke Coach Mike Krzyzewski prevailed over his Louisville counterpart, Rick Pitino, in their first meeting since the 1992 East Region NCAA championship game, in which Christian Laettner hit a famous game-winning shot in overtime for the Blue Devils.
Peyton Siva netted 19 points with six steals and Russ Smith added 17 points for the Cardinals (5-1).
