COL BKB: New Mexico 65, UNLV 45

ALBUQUERQUE, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Drew Gordon did it all for New Mexico Saturday, scoring 27 points and grabbing 20 rebounds in the Lobos' 65-45 rout of 11th-ranked Nevada-Las Vegas.

Gordon's jumper with 12 minutes remaining broke a 36-36 tie and triggered a New Mexico run that put the contest away.

The Lobos (22-4, 8-2 Mountain West) also got 12 points from Tony Snell while claiming revenge for an 80-63 loss to UNLV Jan. 21 in Las Vegas.

New Mexico notched its seventh straight victory since dropping back-to-back games San Diego State and the Rebels.

Anthony Marshall led UNLV (22-6, 6-4) with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
