COL BKB: Ohio State 78, Minnesota 68

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- William Buford scored 24 points and Jared Sullinger added 23 Tuesday to lead No. 6 Ohio State to a 78-68 win over Minnesota.

Buford and Sullinger both had eight rebounds and Deshaun Thomas scored 12 points for the Buckeyes (22-4, 10-3 Big Ten).

The win got Ohio State back on track after a weekend loss to Michigan State snapped a six-game winning streak.

Rodney Williams had 21 points and Julian Welch scored 11 for the Gophers (17-9, 5-8), who have lost three of their last four.

Ohio State led 40-28 at halftime. Minnesota got into a groove in the second half, scoring 40 points but failing to shut down the Buckeyes, who scored 38 of their own.
