COL BKB: Syracuse 85, Connecticut 67

SYRACUSE, N.Y., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Scoop Jardine pumped in 21 points and Dion Waiters added 18 for No. 2 Syracuse Saturday and the Orange kept rolling with an 85-67 win over Connecticut.

Jardine drained four 3-pointers and Kris Joseph added 15 points for Syracuse (25-1, 12-1 Big East), which notched its fifth straight win.

The Orange outrebounded the Huskies 31-29 with the help of C.J. Fair, who contributed 14 points and 12 boards.

Connecticut (15-9, 5-7) lost for the sixth time in seven games despite 18 points from Jeremy Lamb and Ryan Boatright's 14.
