CHESTNUT HILL, Mass., Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Jordan Daniels hit the last of his 19 points from the foul line with 3 seconds left Wednesday, giving Boston College a 64-60 win over No. 15 Florida State.
The surprise victory ended the Eagles' six-game losing streak. Florida State had won seven in a row since losing its opening Atlantic Coast Conference game against Clemson.
Boston College led by as many as eight points in the second half, but the Seminoles closed to within three on Michael Snaer's 3-pointer with 5 seconds to go.
Daniels was fouled by Ian Miller, but missed his first free throw. He then made the second to clinch the victory.
Matt Humphrey contributed 15 points and Ryan Anderson had 14 for the Eagles (8-16, 3-7 ACC).
Florida State (16-7, 7-2) was led by Snaer with 12 points and seven rebounds. The Seminoles led by 12 early in the contest, but Boston College rallied for a one-point halftime advantage.
